Description

v  Utilize maps, photograph, satellite imagery, and digital mapping data to create realistic visual scenes.

v  Develop and improve 3D synthetic environment and models demonstrated for visual systems

v  Pressure and time sensitive deadlines

v  Develop state of the art computer graphics to show new functionality of the system

v  Design, build and debugs 3D models on new systems

v  Utilize modeling platforms which include specific tools in conjunction with third party software

v  Use documented procedure to maintain control for new models

v  Create documentation for maintaining library for reuse.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS

 Associate's degree or equivalent in 3D modeling or computer based graphic arts from two-year college or technical school. Experience with computer graphics preferred is preferred. Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience required.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be an experienced 3D artist skilled with several of the following:

v  Presagis Creator

v  3D Modeling Software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, Lightwave, etc.

v  Strong Photoshop skills (texture map development).

v  Strong geometry and texture mapping skills.

v  Microsoft Office Suite

Ability and willingness to travel and work both USA and overseas. 

Accountable for the control and distribution of documents and/or equipment subject to the security of confidential materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of customer products. Applicant must be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

Growing company in Orlando looking for a Film Mirror Skinning Specialist for the Aircraft Simulation Field.   The Film Mirror Skinning Specialist is responsible for fitting and skinning film mirrors at the customer site which includes, but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Serving as liaison between customer representative and project manager, providing critical updates and information on a daily basis.  Training of other specialists and apprentices.  Preparing products / shipments / tooling prior to travelling to customer site.  Assisting with the development of modifications and tooling as it relates to the mechanical aspects of the simulator.    Handling of customer service requests promptly. Communicating/coordinating with all relevant persons involved in each project.  Providing technical support to other specialists and customers via phone conference as well as 24 hour AOG service on occasion.

Requirements
Previous mechanical simulation experience, especially installation and reskinning the film mirror; and prior visual system and/or maintenance experience.  Experience with simulators specifically useful.  Must be willing to travel up to 50%.   Ability to operate a forklift, and pallet jack. Having an excellent attitude, being customer focused, having strong communications skills, trainable, adaptable, and must be a team player!  A commitment to excellence.  Must be willing to work in other areas of the company when not onsite.  Current driversˇ¦ license and ability to visit government installations required.
